Video licences & corresponding source

Giant Tiny Video processes files locally using the unmodified single-thread ffmpeg.wasm core 0.12.10 (FFmpeg 5.1.4). The codec is GPL-2.0-or-later. The product-specific JavaScript, CSS and interface in this distribution are offered under GPL-2.0-or-later, copyright 2026 The Giant Tiny App Factory. Other Factory utilities and shared host code are separate works with their own terms.

These open-source licences permit commercial use subject to their terms. No licence fee is charged by this workbench. Codec patent permissions, where applicable, are separate from copyright licensing.

The archives below contain the preferred source for the distributed codec, its bindings, build scripts and linked libraries. They are served from this same site and are available without an account or charge. The exact core release recipe is in the ffmpeg-wasm archive at revision 71aa99d37c02a7b4c435275ca9ef50e612f6efa1. Build it with Emscripten 3.1.40 and its documented single-thread build flags. The core binary is unmodified; product source imports that core directly.
